Dipingere miniature si basa tanto sulla pratica, lo sappiamo tutti, però vuol dire anche studiare e approfondire nozioni su tecniche, materiali, colori e tutto ciò che gira intorno ai pennelli.
Tutti nell'ambiene conosciamo Jeremie Bonamant Teboul vero? Se così non fosse, correte su Google Immagini SUBITO!
Io amo e seguo i suoi lavori da tanto tempo, così quando ho visto la campagna di raccolta fondi su Indiegogo, per finanziare il suo primo libro-tutorial, mi ci sono subito fiondato con curiosità.

I love and follow his works from a lot of time, so when I saw Indiegogo campaign, to raise funds for his tutorial book, I quickly leap into it, with a lot of curiosity.

Ho preso il libro più miniatura in scala 32mm -Queen of barbary- per 45 euro spedizioni comprese. Inclusi nell'offerta c'erano anche i vari obiettivi raggiunti dalla raccolta fondi, che ha avuto un grande successo, quindi ho ottenuto anche 16 pagine in più, una seconda miniatura in scala 32mm -Queen of death- , un set di tre adesivi e un segnalibro. La campagna su Indiegogo si è chiusa il 29/10/2014 e qualche giorno fà (metà Marzo) il pacco è arrivato. Sono molto curioso di sfogliare questo libro!

This offer included all perks reached in campaign, that it had a lot of success, so I received 16 pages more, a second miniature in 32mm scale -Queen of death- , a set with three stickers and a bookmark. Indiegogo campaing ended in 29/10/2014 and few days ago (half march) I received the parcel. I'm really curious to browse this book!

120 pagine in formato A4 plastificato brossurato, il libro (per farla brevissima) ha una prima parte sull'illuminazione, la posizione delle luci/ombre e come utilizzarle per esaltare la composizione della scena. Ha una seconda parte tutta incentrata sul colore, il modo di utilizzarlo, il significato dei colori primari, come mischiarli, le sfumature che si possono ottenere e come sfruttarle per dare un clima, un'ambientazione, un risalto alla miniatura che stiamo dipingendo. Ci sono tantissime foto, tanti esempi giusto/sbagliato, considerazioni ed esperimenti da provare. Tutto frutto dell'esperienza che Jeremie ha maturato in 20 anni di pratica e studi.

120 pages, in A4 size, plastified paparback, this book (to summarize it really short) has a first part about illumination, hwo to put lights/shadows and how to use them to exalt the scene. It has a second part all about colours, the way to use it, the meaning of three primary colours, how to mix them and blendings that we could obtain to give a climax, an environment, to stand up miniature that we are painting. There are a lot of photos, right/wrong examples, ideas and experiments to try. all this is born from Jeremie experience grown in 20 years of practice and studying.

Tutti questi concetti saranno davvero utilissimi per migliorare i miei lavori (spero di migliorare! dipende solo da me) e dovrebbero essere le fondamenta teoriche di chiunque si avventuri in questo hobby e voglia andare un pò oltre le miniature da gioco. Il libro è davvero consigliatissimo!

All these concepts will be really useful to improve my works (I hope to improve! It's all in my hands) and they should be foundamental theories for everyone that wants to go deep in this hobby, beyond the game-level. This book is really recommended!
