"Fairy Tales" Un diorama composto...

In questo articolo voglio mostrare le foto di un piccolo diorama che ho voluto realizzare con un paio di miniature e tanta auto costruzione.

Il personaggio principale è un troll delle paludi, un simil mostro delle paludi, in scala 32mm, preso in crowdfunding su Indiegogo, insieme a vari goblin supereroi. La casa produttrice era la Skulls Mini (attuale Lumberjacks studio).

Il secondo personaggio è "Bad fairy", la fatina cattiva della Freebooter in 28mm, una vecchia miniatura che avevo nel cassetto degli avanzi.

In this article I want to show photos of a little diorama that I realized with a couple of miniatures and a lot of self building.

First character is a swamp troll, a "Swamp-thing" like one, in 32mm scale, that I got in a crowdfunding on Indiegogo, togheter with a lot of goblins superheroes. House of production was Skulls Mini (now Lumberjacks studio).

Second character is "Bad Fairy"by Freebooter in 28mm, an old mini that was in my trash desk.

This comic was born in 1984 by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, and is fascinating because of a mix between fantastic and zen culture of ancient japanese warriors.

"Not so big..." Barbarian Dude Redux by Emanuele Giovagnoni (it's raining frogs)

Oggi voglio parlare della bellissima scultura di Emanuele Giovagnoni, un barbuto barbaro ispirato all'artwork di Simon Bisley rappresentante Conan.

La prima versione che rilasciò, con ascia, ebbe un successo strepitoso in rete e non riuscii a prenderla, andò esaurita rapidamente.
La seconda versione con spadone non me la sono lasciata sfuggire e l'ho dipinta.

La miniatura è in scala 32mm "scala eroica". La sua altezza è di 40mm circa, molto imponente in confronto ad altre miniature di tale scala.
La prima versione fu realizzata in 350 copie e la seconda in 499, tutte ormai esaurite.
La miniatura viene con un mantello di pelliccia a parte, qualora volesse essere messo sulle spalle.


Today I want to show you the beautiful work of Emanuele Giovagnoni, a bearded barbarian inspired to the Conan artwork by Simon Bisley.
First wave of casts, with axe, had an huge shock in the net, and I can't buy because it went out of order quickly.
Second wave, with sword, went in production and I managed to get a copy and painted it.
This mini is 32mm "heroic" scale. Its height is about 40mm, really massive confronted with other miniatures in same scale.
First cast was only 350 copies and second cast 499. All out of order today.
This piece come with an optional fur cloack, to put on its back.

Questa è la mia versione del Celestial Guard Hacker per la fazione Yu Jing di Infinity. Una linea di miniature sci-fi e un gioco schermaglia, che amo particolarmente.
Miniature molto dettagliate nonostante la scala piccola, difficili da realizzare, una bella sfida.

Lo schema di colori vorrebbe ricordare DeadPool della Marvel.

This is my version of Celestial Guard Hacker for Yu Jing faction, Infinity, a miniatures and skirmish game designers that I love so much.
Their miniatures are very detailed for this little scale, difficult to paint, very challenging.

It's colour scheme was inspired by Marvel's DeadPool.

Squat in Exo-Armour by Games-Workshop

Un tempo esisteva, tra le armate di Warhammer 40K, l'esercito dei nani, gli "Squat" appunto.
Un esercito via di mezzo tra Space Marine e Guardia Imperiale. Composto da truppe in divisa, truppe in moto e truppe pesantemente corazzate, assimilabili ai Terminator, le Exo-Armour.
Tale esercito è andato poi fuori produzione, per motivi di scarso successo, e non più supportato dalla GW. Purtroppo fu un peccato.

Many years ago, in Warhammer 40k armies, there was a dwarven faction, called "Squats".
The concept was placed between Space Marines and Imperial Guards. It was composed by normal soldiers, motorbikers and heavily armoured infantry, similar to Terminators, the Exo-Armours.
This army was discontinued by GW, because of low success. It was a pity.
