Questa è la mia interpretazione finale del Colossus by Knight Models.
Ci ho messo tanto tempo per finirlo, è stata la miniatura che ad oggi, ho curato più di tutti.
Circa 80 ore di lavoro per 4 mesi e ne sono davvero soddisfatto.

This is my final interpretation of Colossus by Knight Models.
I spent a lot of time on it, this is the miniature that I take care more than others, today.
Nearly 80 hour of work, during 4 months and I'm really satisfied.

Nonostante sia passato un pò di tempo da quando l'ho cominciato, voglio mostrare il mio percorso su questa miniatura, il personaggio della Marvel, un X-Man, Colossus di Knight Models, 70mm in pesantissimo metallo bianco, con base in resina, la manona della Sentinella.

It's passed a lot of time when I started it, but now, I want to show my work on this miniature, Marvel X-Man, Colossus by Knight Models, 70mm in really heavy white metal, with a resin base, the big Sentinel's hand.

EUROMA 2015 - Reportage Fotografico

Quest'anno è la seconda volta che vado a vedere le miniature esposte ad Euroma 2015, mostra concorso del settore, aperta a Roma da 3 stagioni. Sempre un'ottima esperienza!
Ne rimango sempre affascinato e ne esco promettendomi di partecipare l'anno successivo. Forse nel 2016 lo farò davvero...

Dipingere miniature si basa tanto sulla pratica, lo sappiamo tutti, però vuol dire anche studiare e approfondire nozioni su tecniche, materiali, colori e tutto ciò che gira intorno ai pennelli.
Tutti nell'ambiene conosciamo Jeremie Bonamant Teboul vero? Se così non fosse, correte su Google Immagini SUBITO!
Io amo e seguo i suoi lavori da tanto tempo, così quando ho visto la campagna di raccolta fondi su Indiegogo, per finanziare il suo primo libro-tutorial, mi ci sono subito fiondato con curiosità.

I love and follow his works from a lot of time, so when I saw Indiegogo campaign, to raise funds for his tutorial book, I quickly leap into it, with a lot of curiosity.

Le Tartarughe Ninja Mutanti Adolescenti sono una delle figure più rappresentative degli anni 90, famose per tutti noi giovanotti cresciuti a pane, Nutella e cartoni animati, adolescenti o giù di lì in quel periodo. Fumetti nati nel 1984 ad opera dei disegnatori Kevin Eastman e Peter Laird, affascinano perchè mescolano caratteri fantascientifici alla cultura zen degli antichi guerrieri giapponesi.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are one of the most celebrative figure in 90th, really famous among us, teenage boys grown up with Nutella on bread  and cartoons, in that time. This comic was born in 1984 by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird, and is fascinating because of a mix between fantastic and zen culture of ancient japanese warriors.

"Not so big..." Barbarian Dude Redux by Emanuele Giovagnoni (it's raining frogs)

Oggi voglio parlare della bellissima scultura di Emanuele Giovagnoni, un barbuto barbaro ispirato all'artwork di Simon Bisley rappresentante Conan.

La prima versione che rilasciò, con ascia, ebbe un successo strepitoso in rete e non riuscii a prenderla, andò esaurita rapidamente.
La seconda versione con spadone non me la sono lasciata sfuggire e l'ho dipinta.

La miniatura è in scala 32mm "scala eroica". La sua altezza è di 40mm circa, molto imponente in confronto ad altre miniature di tale scala.
La prima versione fu realizzata in 350 copie e la seconda in 499, tutte ormai esaurite.
La miniatura viene con un mantello di pelliccia a parte, qualora volesse essere messo sulle spalle.


Today I want to show you the beautiful work of Emanuele Giovagnoni, a bearded barbarian inspired to the Conan artwork by Simon Bisley.
First wave of casts, with axe, had an huge shock in the net, and I can't buy because it went out of order quickly.
Second wave, with sword, went in production and I managed to get a copy and painted it.
This mini is 32mm "heroic" scale. Its height is about 40mm, really massive confronted with other miniatures in same scale.
First cast was only 350 copies and second cast 499. All out of order today.
This piece come with an optional fur cloack, to put on its back.
